What is all we need for a Godly life?
What are His precious Promises?
What does a divine nature look like?
The scripture text has addressed several different issues, or shall I say questions have been answered by this text alone found in 2 Peter. What is all we need for a Godly life? Through the wisdom OF the Word and the Knowledge of Jesus the Messiah we have been given "divine power" to live a Godly life. If you look it up in the dictionary it would read "heavenly Power". So our Father has promised to give all the powers in heaven to live a godly life if we choose to receive it...Amen
A divine nature would look like Jesus, a "heavenly nature" . For me all though it is promised it is still difficult for me to operate in the fruits of the spirit all the time. Goodness, kindness, love, patience, faith, hope, and self control. Some bibles call patience the fruit of loooonnnngggg Suffering. What is so funny about that is I should have plenty of patience because I believe I have suffered long....many different times so that patience could have it's perfect work. Everyday I have a choice to operate in His Power or in my own. Some of my nature looks like worry, discontentment, ungrateful, selfishness, controlling, and anger....just to name of few. What I am learning is it is my choice because all the power from the Heavenly realm has already been given to me if I choose to use it. Wow this is totally the Father's Nature to give us everything we would ever need, and then give us the free will to choose weather we live a Natural life, or if we live a "Super Natural Life" with the arsenal of Heaven at our disposal...In Jesus we live today
Promises
found in Matthew 5 Please note the amplified version says REGARDLESS OF OUTWARD CIRCUMSTANCES!
2. (Jesus)And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [1] of God.
10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
